SAMHSA Announces National Survey on Drug Use and Health

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) released the results of its annual National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH), which details reports of Americans' experiences with mental health conditions, substance use, and pursuit of treatment in 2022. The 2022 NSDUH national report includes selected estimates by race, ethnicity, and age group. This year's publication is accompanied by a newly offered companion infographic.


SAMHSA Receives 74.4 Million in Funding to Improve Behavioral Health

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), announced notices of funding opportunities for grant programs that address behavioral health challenges in local communities by preventing substance use initiation, reducing the progression of substance use, and addressing other related concerns. The grant opportunities total about 74.4 million and are a part of the key pillars for the president's Unity Agenda for the Nation.
